Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for Henredon as part of the Taliesin Collection, introduced in the mid-1950s.
Dining Chairs in oiled mahogany, newly upholstered in a Great Plains nubby cotton-poly blend, The set includes two armchairs (Model 2000) and ten side chairs (Model 2000), exemplifying Wright’s vision of integrated, architectural furniture for the modern American interior.
This model was produced for a limited period, circa 1957, adding to its rarity and desirability.
These chairs are documented in period materials, including the original Taliesin Collection catalog (example shown), as well as a feature in House Beautiful at the time of the collection’s launch.
