The desk boasts a large curved asymmetric solid walnut top supported by three distinct rectangular pedestal cases, offering ample storage including a mix of large file drawers and smaller utility drawers. The cases are meticulously crafted with high-quality walnut veneer over a plywood and painted wood structure.

Designed to accommodate two people facing each other, the desk allows storage access from multiple sides and is suitable for central placement within a room. Solid American walnut, prized for its durability and rich chocolate tones, displays a striking natural grain pattern that follows the desk’s sculptural curves. Authentic examples are hand-finished with traditional oil-based varnish, enhancing the wood’s natural luster and depth.

This asymmetric partner’s desk is a standout mid-century modern piece, blending aesthetic refinement with practical functionality, making it an ideal choice for an executive or gallery setting.

Condition:

The veneer on the cases and the solid top have been professionally sanded and restored. Imperfections were repaired and filled, after which the surface was sanded and finished with five coats of oil. Presents well.
