A striking minimalist construction by American artist Ben Jones, Untitled Ladder is from his Ladder Series, circa 2015. The work features two tall lavender-purple vertical supports connected by three horizontal crossbars, each accented with a vivid red stripe. The restrained geometric structure and contrasting palette reflect Jones’s interest in color, form, and architectural construction.

The work was exhibited in Ben Jones x8 / Technicolor Happening, ACE Gallery, Beverly Hills, July–October 2015. Other works from the same exhibition were also offered.

Condition:

Very good vintage condition. Scuffing, soiling, and minor handling marks are present in places throughout. Small area of accretion to the lower right and slight warping to the metal braces on the verso. Nicks to the extreme edges with some pigment loss, primarily at the corners. Overall, the work presents very well.
