Artist Background
Max Neufeldt (1938–2025) studied at Ohio Wesleyan University and earned his MFA from Pratt Institute. Based in California, he gained acclaim in Venice and Santa Barbara for transforming quotidian objects—cheese graters, cake pans, keys—into contemplative sculptural narratives. His works have been exhibited at the Pasadena Art Museum and featured in leading California design publications.
