Born on August 9, 1914, in Highland Park, Illinois, Tony Rosenthal is renowned for his monumental public art sculptures displayed in cities worldwide. Throughout his illustrious career spanning over seven decades, Rosenthal explored various sizes, styles, and mediums, including wood, steel, bronze, brass, cement, and aluminum. Notably, his work includes the iconic "The Alamo" Turning Steel Cube in New York City's Astor Place.
