John Hejduk was a prominent figure in architecture, closely associated with several influential groups such as the New York Five—comprising architects Peter Eisenman, Richard Meier, Michael Graves, and Charles Gwathmey. Hejduk was also part of the Texas Rangers, a group of innovative architects and professors at the University of Texas School of Architecture in Austin, which included notable participants like Colin Rowe and Werner Seligmann.
