CONVERSO, established in 1994,
has become one of America’s most prominent dealers of modern furnishings and objects. Our catalog highlights furniture by architects, rare prototypes, and limited-editions attracting attention from collectors and designers alike. Our intense curiosity and facility for primary research often makes CONVERSO first in major collecting areas and important archival material and we are a magnet for curators researching museum exhibits.
Based in Chicago, with a large online presence, presenting several curated exhibitions each year, CONVERSO has been the subject of many high-profile articles and interviews, published in Architectural Digest, The New York Times, and Wallpaper*, among others.
Formerly occupying storefront showrooms in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York, CONVERSO is currently accessible online, at select design shows, or by making an appointment to visit our Chicago warehouse.
CONVERSO has sold to The Met, MoMA, Milwaukee Art Museum, Brooklyn Museum, and the V&A Museum.
