Rosewood and chrome six-drawer dresser by Harvey Probber. Probber (b.1922-d.2003) was an iconic American designer who was an early pioneer of modular seating in the 1940’s. His design aesthetic was elegant, sophisticated and leaned toward a masculine sensibility. While the lines he incorporated were super clean, the luxury of his pieces are manifested in his employment of custom fabrics, exotic woods and careful finishes.
