Arturo Pani Prototype Steel and Leather ‘Throne’ Sling Chair
Continuously bent, steel framed leather sling chair referencing a Pre-Columbian throne motif, designed by Arturo Pani and executed by Telleres Chacon. A prototype acquired from Telleres Chacon in Mexico City upon the retirement of master metalsmith, Manuel Chacon. The rich patina on the steel frame shows burnish and preparations for gold leafing.
