Architectural set of nesting tables designed by Eliel Saarinen and J. Robert F. Swanson for Johnson Furniture Company. The set consists of two tables with maple tops and one table with an aluminum top, all supported by elegantly curved maple frames.

The restrained geometry and softened corners reflect Saarinen and Swanson’s modernist approach to furniture design during the period, combining functional nesting construction with refined materials and craftsmanship.

Dimensions:

Large table: 17½ H × 28 W × 18¼ D in.

Small table: 16¼ H × 26 W × 15¼ D in.

Condition:

Good restored condition. Minor scratches and surface wear consistent with age and use. Aluminum top has been professionally buffed and presents well.
